People diagnosed with autism are considered to have a severe disability, the range in ability level is varied. |
Autism Diagnosis |
To be diagnosed with Autism a person mus show six or more combinations of the following: Poor Eye Contact, Lack of responsiveness, inability to establish Relationships. No formal spoken language roboticsounding speech with little tone inflection, use of made-up gibberish words, and repeating exactly what has been heard.
Some of their stereotypical behavior would be body rocking, hand flapping, or fascination with objects or specific parts of objects. |
